Episode 325: Handball Grey Areas

March 10, 2017

Recovery for some in the league, and a European adventure continues.

The week 23 results are given a full rundown.  Both Besiktas and Fenerbahce looked to be the beneficiaries of some grey areas of the law regarding the handball.  Bursaspor finally ended their recent futility.  Galatasaray made off like a thief in the night in Antalya with the football equivalent of a buzzer beater.  There was some extracurricular activity in Adana as well, but it doesn’t hide the fact that Adanaspor are pretty much screwed.

Besiktas went into Greece to face Olympiakos in the Europa League.  The first leg of that tie is reviewed and it looks like there’s still all to play for in Istanbul next week.
