Episode 310: Beck At Left Back (Try Saying That Three Times Fast)

November 18, 2016

The international break has come and gone.  Now it seems we can get back to normal with the league and other club competitions.

We start off this week with a review of Turkey’s match against Kosovo in World Cup 2018 qualifying.  Well, it wasn’t much and there’s not much to debate on this match.  Although, Fatih Terim’s ego still is getting in the way of things.

The week 11 schedule gets the rundown this week as the league kicks back into action.  This week is highlighted by the Fenerbahce-Galatasaray derby.  Although there are some other match that people might want to take notice of, particularly the matches involving the league leaders.

We finish up this week by going over the upcoming matches for European competition.  There are some interesting points ahead of the Besiktas-Benfica match in the Champions League.  As for the Europa League, there are also some interesting points there.  Fenerbahce will have to watch for Zorya Luhansk.  Konyaspor, disappointing European run aside, make have an easier time of it against Shakhtar Donetsk than initially thought.  As for Osmanlispor, they could be the surprise darlings once again.
